"Sin Shall Not Have
Dominion Over You"
by Charles Fitch

A little background on the book....

Back sometime in the mid to late 1990's, a friend of ours, Patrick Jones, sent us a copy of some letters he had found in the archives of an old, Cleveland, OH library, on microfilm.  He asked us to read the letters.  What a blessing they were!

What he had found were letters written by Charles Fitch, (who was at the time, 1840, a Presbyterian minister), written to the leaders of the Presbyterian church, explaining why he believed that with the help of the Lord, we can and must overcome sin before Jesus returns.  You see, Charles Fitch was being "called in on the carpet" for being an advocate of such an "important and dangerous error."

Well, we read the letters and thought that it was the best reading we had read outside of the Bible and the writings of Ellen White, and decided to put them into print.  We compiled them into this little book that we have called, "Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You".  And it has since been re-printed by others under other names, as well.  Recently we decided to type the letters all out online here, so that you, no matter what part of the world you are in, can read them and be blessed.  Please don't hesitate to write us how the Lord spoke to you through "Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You."  We look forward to hearing from you!

By the way, Charles Fitch was not technically a SDA Pioneer, as he died before he ever knew anything about keeping the Sabbath....but he was a part of the early Advent Movement.

Ellen White in vision, saw Charles Fitch in Heaven.  Here is what she said:

We all went under the tree, and sat down to look at the glory of the place, when Brethren Fitch and Stockman, who had preached the gospel of the kingdom, and whom God had laid in the grave to save them, came up to us and asked us what we had passed through while they were sleeping. We tried to call up our greatest trials, but they looked so small compared with the far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory that surrounded us, that we could not speak them out, and we all cried out, "Alleluia! heaven is cheap enough!" and we touched our glorious harps and made heaven's arches ring. {CET 61.1}
